workshop

practices, principles, and preparation

for a good postpartum

Becoming a mother is an exciting transition. There’s so much you’re looking forward to – her sweet weight and smell, feeling her fall asleep in your arms, her first smile, being a family.

But there’s also a lot you don’t know. How will she feed? Sleep? How will you cope with the demands and infamous sleeplessness of life with a newborn?

Until you meet your baby and see how things go, how can you really prepare for it – beyond just buying the usual registry stuff?

There are, in fact, a few key practices and principles that make all the difference to your – and baby’s! – postpartum experience.

You can be prepared, relaxed, and confident for early motherhood.

Based on scientific and sociological research, as well as on the experiences of new mothers just like you, Beyond the Registry takes the guesswork out of what you need for a good postpartum.

We’ll focus your preparation on the areas that make the greatest difference to your wellbeing and the wellbeing of your newborn. Your life will be organized and your priorities aligned for thriving in early motherhood!

Join us for a workshop of learning, connection, and getting the right stuff done.

Allison made a phenomenal difference to both my pre-birth preparation and post-birth experience. Through the work we did together, I feel transformed to a better version of myself; confident and empowered to embrace and enjoy who I am as a mother. I wish I had worked with Allison before my first child arrived as well! Allison’s unique way of empathizing and challenging, and her ability to effortlessly weave her experiences and expertise into conversations, offered me new perspectives and emboldened me to challenge myself and take a new level of personal responsibility in my approach to motherhood. Her completely non-judgmental approach and skill at addressing both the minutiae and macro level with equal importance and interest, created a wide-open forum and platform to springboard from, and a collaboration that always felt positive and uplifting. Her constructive, pragmatic suggestions, effective tools and techniques will continue to be invaluable, not only in my motherhood adventure ahead, but across all dimensions of my life. — Louise, entrepreneur and mother of 2.

HOW IT WORKS

  • Find out what new moms — women just like you — wish they had done before they had their baby. . . and then do it!

All course materials will be provided and are yours to keep.

“Becoming a mother is one of the most important transitions of a woman’s life and I cannot imagine anyone I would rather have as a guide and mentor than Allison. Her compassion, gentle strength and hard-earned wisdom are exactly what I wish I had available to me when I was making the journey from pregnant to motherhood. I recommend Allison and her course wholeheartedly for any woman, any family, that wants to invite birth to be the amazing transformation it can and should be.” – Nona Jordan, master certified coach and mother

“Allison was put on Planet Earth to heal mothers. This is what I knew from the moment I met her. It was so evident in the way she gushed birth and life and healing and health. This course is a culmination of all that she has learned from her own story, her research, and her work with other mothers.” – Rebecca Mullen, master certified coach and mother
